On The Periphery

at any given moment , we can manifest a wide spectrum of diverse options .
it's a porous , permeable universe we inhabit , and we don't need to get stuck in one, crowded corner of it ...with a lot of company .
like being trapped in a narrow space of predictable social expectations ...similar to the characters in a Netflix series.
but let's face it , in this ongoing narrative of "This Is My Life "(starring yours truly )...we tend to avoid the risks of venturing off the beaten paths.
as a society of sheep , we imitate each other , guided by a small screen in the palm of the hand .
without this screen we are useless , disconnected , isolated .
a tribe of tik-tokkers , complacent with being entertained , distracted , & all too often , overfed .
our obsessions gravitate toward our skin , hair , nails , shape , weight , tattoos and bank account .
yet , every moment of our life occurs within the dimension of oxygen ...which blesses us with a continual abundance.
all of us continually breathe our way from the present into the future ...into a realm of immense possibilities & choices, unlimited by how we look .
our breathing never goes backwards , it only surges ahead , moment after every brand-new moment .
we can operate on an expanded level....independent of the ubiquitous talking bots .
by inhaling with awareness , we generate a depth of uniqueness , which belongs to each individual alone .
if we consistently maintain this appreciation for oxygen ...we find ourselves within a subtle frequency which can offer us equilibrium , healing , wisdom , maybe even longevity... and other stuff which is not available from Amazon .
don't count every breath... make every breath count ...deeper , slower, longer , stronger .
